What we collect, and what we do with it.

This policy covers seeristica.com and the reading service run by Personifier Media Private Limited ("Seeristica", "we", "us"). Last updated: this rewrite reflects our current infrastructure (Supabase, Cloudflare, Paytm, Resend, Anthropic).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us when you order a reading

Name, email address, mobile number, age, which hand you write with, and two photographs of your palms. For an Individual reading, we also collect which single area you'd like the reading to focus on; the Overall reading covers all six by default.

Information collected automatically

Standard web analytics (pages visited, referrer, rough device/browser type) via Google Analytics, and ad-effectiveness data via Meta Pixel if you arrived from a Meta ad. We don't use these to identify you personally.

Payment information

We never see or store your card, UPI, or net banking credentials. Payment is handled entirely by Paytm; we receive only a payment status (paid, pending, or failed) and a transaction reference number.

2. How we use your information

To produce and deliver your reading, to process payment, to contact you about your order if something goes wrong, and — only if you've separately joined a waitlist — to notify you when Couples or Annual readings launch. We do not use your data to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.

3. How long we keep your data

Palm photographs

Your two palm photographs are deleted within 7 days of your reading being delivered. They are not retained for training, marketing, or any other purpose beyond producing your reading.

Order and account information

Your name, email, mobile, age, and order details are retained for as long as required by Indian tax law (currently 7 years for accounting records under the Income Tax Act). You may request deletion of records beyond what's legally mandated at any time by writing to support@seeristica.com.

Your reading PDF

A copy of your delivered reading is retained so we can re-send it if you lose access to your email. You may request deletion of this copy at any time.

4. Third parties who process your data

We're upfront about who touches your data in the course of delivering Seeristica:

• Supabase — hosts our database and stores your palm photographs (in a private, non-public storage bucket) during the production window, and the finished reading PDF afterward.
• Cloudflare — hosts the website and the server-side functions that process your order; photographs pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure in transit but are not stored there.
• Paytm — processes payments. Subject to Paytm's own privacy policy.
• Anthropic (Claude) — your palm photographs are analysed by Anthropic's Claude to identify physical features of your hands; this analysis is what produces the substance of your reading. Anthropic processes this data per their own privacy policy and does not use it to train models.
• Resend — delivers transactional email (order confirmation, your reading PDF) to your inbox.
• Google Analytics — site traffic and usage analytics.
• Meta Pixel — measures ad effectiveness for any advertising we run on Facebook/Instagram.

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we don't share it with anyone beyond the providers listed above.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for essential site function and for the analytics/ad-measurement tools listed above. You can decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable IT rules, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (subject to legally mandated retention periods described above) by writing to support@seeristica.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Palm photographs are stored in a private storage bucket that is never publicly readable; access is restricted to server-side processes using a service credential that is never exposed to the browser. Payment data never touches our servers directly. That said, no system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

8. Children

Seeristica is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service or providers change. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
